Arey Design is a full service custom soft furnishing studio located in the greater Boston area.  We work with individual clients and interior designers to bring unique custom-tailored designs to life for your home or business.  Our services include a personal design consultation, professional site measurement services, fabrication and installation.        

Owner, Jessica Arey is a certified NCIDQ professional (National Certification of Interior Design Qualification) with over seventeen years of experience planning interior spaces.  She has extensive knowledge of design development, space planning, product specification, site measurement, finish selection, custom window treatments and upholstery. 

Her interior design knowledge combined with project management, sewing and fabrication skills equal a high level of service and attention to detail.  As an accomplished seamstress, her window treatments, cushions, pillows and other soft decor items are handmade to meet each customers specifications.    

Jessica also was an Adjunct Professor of Interior Design at Newbury College in Brookline, MA.  She taught interior design studios and computer aided design courses .  Jessica enjoyed teaching and passing along her design knowledge.  She simply states "It is very rewarding watching my students grow as designers."

Jessica has worked for some of Boston's leading commercial office furniture dealerships including Creative Office Pavilion, Peabody Office Furniture and Office Works.  As a senior designer and account manager she was responsible for overseeing multiple projects from design inception through installation.  These experiences shaped her into a highly detailed designer whose passion is problem solving.    

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from the University of New Haven and NCIDQ Certificate No. 018317 (National Certification for Interior Design Qualification).
